Made in our own factory / Knit gloves
Our own knitting factory develops the cable hand back, plain palm and rib opening as one construction. A collection brief should show how the pattern sits on both hands and how it is handled across the ordered sizes.

Provide the cable direction and visual scale you want. Decide whether the layout stays fixed or is adjusted for different sizes, and keep those approvals with the size specification.

Your buying specification / VL-KN-02
For private label cable knit gloves, the raised hand-back pattern leads the design. Specify the cable layout, plain palm and ribbed cuff separately so our factory can develop their junctions and proportions together. Yarn selection and motif scale need to be reviewed across the intended sizes.
| Your choice | What changes | Include in the RFQ |
|---|---|---|
| Cable on the back only | The palm remains a separate structure; approve how the two surfaces meet. | Back and palm views with the cable area marked. |
| Change the cable scale | A wider motif changes its relationship to the finger bases and side edges. | Pattern placement priorities for the smallest and largest proposed sizes. |
| Change yarn appearance | A different yarn can alter visible cable definition; a matching color alone is insufficient. | A physical yarn or glove reference and the texture you want to retain. |
Keep the selected options with this style’s material and sample file. Our own factory in Hangzhou reviews the brief for development and bulk production.

Factory process / VL-KN-02
Follow the construction decisions for Cable Knit through preparation, making and full inspection in our own factory.
Construction preparation

Review the yarn and proposed cable texture together. Identify the patterned area, the plain palm and where the cable ends before the cuff.
A clear pattern layout and material reference for each approved version.
In-house making

Our knitting team follows the agreed back/palm arrangement. Review the finger bases and the cable-to-rib transition on the complete sample, including left and right placement.
Pattern position, joining areas and size-specific layout decisions.
Full inspection & packing

Every pair is inspected for dimensions and workmanship. Review cable alignment and texture together with the plain palm, rib finish and paired appearance.
Use the approved layout for that size, rather than one photograph for all sizes.

Before you start
Yes. VORLAN operates its own glove factory. Knitting, cutting, sewing, finishing, inspection and packing are carried out in-house, using the operations required for your selected construction. Embroidery, printing and leather debossing are also handled in our own factory; the method is approved on the chosen material.
Develop the placement with the size range in view. Ask the sample review to address motif position and the plain areas around it, rather than assuming a single enlarged photograph defines every size.
Send the other item or its authorized material and pattern reference. Review the proposed glove yarn, color and cable scale together; a matching color name alone does not define a coordinated set.
Review cable definition, the plain palm, cuff appearance and complete-glove dimensions in the new yarn. Keep the revised material identifier and any updated pattern approval with the reorder.
The MOQ is 300 pairs per style per color. Sampling takes 7–10 working days and bulk production takes 30–45 working days, with start dates confirmed against the agreed project. Allow separately for material confirmation, revisions, transport and clearance. Packing configuration is agreed in the order specification.
Provide your size chart or agree the size development required. Define measurement points, units, condition and method; approve targets and allowed variation for each required point. Review the assembled glove with the chosen materials, lining and cuff.
Send the artwork, dimensions, placement and destination-specific wording. Our factory reviews the application on the selected construction. Keep the applied brand approval, material references, size specification and packing instructions with the Cable Knit order version.
Yes. We inspect every finished pair, including dimensions against the agreed size specification, as well as workmanship, pairing and labels. The measurement points, method and tolerances are agreed for the order. Specialist or laboratory testing has a separate defined scope.
Nonconforming gloves are isolated, reworked and reinspected in our own factory. The revised pair is checked against the agreed requirements before it can return to the accepted order quantity.
Retain the approved sample and the named material, pattern, size, artwork and packing versions. Keep the construction-specific decisions from your sample review with that file. Identify every proposed change and reconfirm its approval, quotation and production timing.
